I saw this image on my way to work this morning, I was puzzled until I read the journal. After that though I finally realised it wasn't just my end messing things up - dA really was sorting photos in a new, in-explainable order.
While I do appreciate the idea of 'Fair Exposure' even though I have literally just found out it was a thing. For years I have browsed the sub categories of the photography that I enjoyed. I saw the best and most talented photographers that dA had to offer, I followed these people and learnt so much, everything I can do now I owe to how the system worked before. I aimed to then be one of these, And after a lot of time and effort on my part, I took a lot of joy knowing that one of my photos was the best Waterscape for the month, and that someone else was out there possibly learning just how I did all those years ago.
My question is, why the hell didn't they just make another sort method for this 'Fair Exposure' algorithm? And why is it still called 'Popular'?
