A Gifted Talent XXVII...IwanDear friends of the arts please allow me to introduce to you Iwan. Many of you know of him and his fine art photography...the rest of us should.
Photographs are images that exist in our heads that are eventually brought to life through photographic technology.
Every image has a story behind it and to every individual that story is different.
Iwan has a gentle spirit that leads him to capture images the way he saw them and not necessarily as they are.
They mirror who he is....even who we are as a people.
Photography is the prefect medium for Iwan. It entitles him to capture the reality of what he is experiencing.
He allows himself to be provoked by his surroundings and through this his poetic photographs are developed.
Going over his work, I realize its never rushed...he takes the time to connect with his subject matter.
This in turn entices viewers to read the poetry he paints with a writer's brush though a photographic vehicle.
