It is I sometimes go on You tube and watch the TV programmes there, they have some good documentary's about world history etc. It's so nice to see all the wonderful places and monuments that there are in the world
Oh Yes, I would love to! My youngest sister had a few holidays there and loved it!! But holidays are just a dream at the moment, lol I'm at the wrong end of raising children, and although my youngest doesn't live at home any more, he needs a little bit of help from Mum as he is still in college....Then when they are both making lots of money they can send me on holidays
Oh That would be wonderful Canan! I love to show people places like that, it makes it a brand new experience when you share it with a new friend I know what you mean Canan, I would love to visit the places of Ancient history, one day maybe our dreams will come true, I hope so My Mother is 78 this year, she visited Africa for the first time last year, and my Beloved Grandfather travelled to Australia and New Zealand at age 86, it was the first time he had ever left the country. (I was so damn proud of him) So we always have hope for our dreams
I love Pre-Raphaelite art, some of them lived or visited the town where I live, as did other artists including Van Goch, Christina Rossetti lived here, Dante G Rossetti visited often, Whistlers Mother (The painting was made at her house, which is 5 minutes from where I live) lived here, And Holman Hunt made quite a few paintings at Fairlight, which is now our local country park, so I guess it's natural for them to be among my favourite artists You are so welcome Canan, they are all really lovely
I buy chipboard boxes, there is nothing on them. Then I paint and put sometimes prints or jusy paint them. This one is mixture of painting and print paper. Thank you so much Jan, these boxes are very special to me. I can finish one about two weeks.
