It is an amazing green place
Oregon is actually only really green and wet in 1/3 of the state. The clouds lose most of their water, and evaporate. The Cascade Mountian Range is the mountian in their way. Past the Cascade Mountians, some place are lucky enough to get even two inches of rain. Also, the closer you are to the beach (which is freezin' most of the time in case you didn't know), the more rain you get. I live on the rainy side, about half 45 minutes to an hour away from the beach.
